Using this website
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
The content on this site, including text, images, and the writing on the blog, belongs to Hope Still Hypnosis. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and share it. Please do not republish it as your own.
About the services
If you are working with a healthcare provider, please continue that care alongside these sessions and keep your provider informed. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact a qualified professional first.
Results vary for each person. The most critical element of success in hypnosis is your desire to change a behavior or experience growth. No particular outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Hypnosis for anyone under 18 requires a parent or guardian to be present.

Booking and appointments
The booking form on this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment is confirmed when Hope replies to arrange it.
Payments accepted: card, cash, Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo.
Prices shown on this site
Prices and packages shown on this website are current at the time of writing and are there so you know roughly what to expect. They are not a binding offer.
The fee for your session is the one confirmed with you when the appointment is arranged. If a price on the site is out of date, the confirmed figure is the one that applies.
Cancellation
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
We understand that emergencies happen, and we'll do our best to accommodate unexpected situations.
Late arrival
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time to avoid overlapping with the next client. Full session fees apply, regardless of the time remaining.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we likely won't have enough time to complete the session effectively. In that case, your appointment may be considered a no-show, and a $50 cancellation fee may apply.
Disclaimer and scope of practice
Services rendered by a hypnotist are held out to the public as nontherapeutic motivational and meditative coaching, defined as the use of hypnosis to inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self-hypnosis. Services rendered are not any form of health care or psychotherapy, and despite research to the contrary, we make no health benefit claims for our services. Our work is supportive and educational, intended to enhance productivity, effectiveness and flourishing.
As Consulting Hypnotists we provide meditative and motivational coaching for a wide range of issues, including making medical or psychological care obtained elsewhere more effective. However, our work is not intended as a substitute for such care. We do not diagnose, treat nor prescribe. Our services help normal persons with normal problems in living, enhancing human flourishing by inculcating positive thinking by the capacity for self-hypnosis. Our services are supportive and educational, teaching persons to use their natural skills and abilities.

Declining or ending service
We may decline to provide, or discontinue, services at our discretion, including where a session would fall outside the scope of practice set out above, or where continuing would not be in your interest. Access to this website may also be withdrawn without notice if these terms are breached.

If something goes wrong, please raise it directly first. Most issues are resolved by a conversation, and we would rather have that conversation than not. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute is dealt with in the state or federal courts serving Dutchess County, New York.
Severability and waiver
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is applied to the greatest extent possible and the rest continues to apply.
If we do not enforce a right or provision under these terms, that is not a waiver of it. Not acting on one occasion does not remove the ability to act on another.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the date shown at the top.
